Lazio’s failure to finish in the top four has resulted in a salary reduction on coach Simone Inzaghi’s contract renewal offer.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the renewal offer included an annual salary of €2.5 million net per season plus add-ons related to the Champions League, but this has now dropped to €2 million plus add-ons because the Biancocelesti didn’t finish in the top four.

The Roman club have started to lineup possible replacements for the 45-year-old Italian coach, which includes Napoli’s Gennaro Gattuso and Bologna’s Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Other options like Sassuolo’s Roberto De Zerbi, Hellas Verona’s Ivan Juric and Porto’s Sergio Conceicao all seem less likely for now. Lotito would still prefer to continue with Inzaghi, however.
