Former Italian and Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi recounted Simone Inzaghi’s memorable run with the Biancocelesti so far.
Inzaghi has had one impressive managerial run with Lazio. From the top-four finish in Serie A last season to the trophies won, Lazio have emerged as a threat in the Italian league as of late.
Still, Inzaghi could very well depart from the club over the upcoming month as he will be a free agent manager. Orsi much appreciates what the Italian manager has brought to Lazio, which he detailed further during his talk with TuttoMercatoWeb Radio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
I know that he has grown a lot and is no longer that boy taken with courage by Lotito.
If it’s true that he has to thank him, it’s also the other way around; he won two Italian Cups and reached the Champions League.
It’s right that when it comes to the contract, the coach can have his doubts. It would not be a tragedy if he leaves, but I think they will come to an agreement.
Lazio has a mere one match remaining on its schedule, which will come with the away league fixture against Sassuolo.
