Lazio Women Close to Signing Fiorentina Veteran Sabatino on a Free Transfer

Lazio Women are interested in signing Fiorentina veteran Daniela Sabatino on a free transfer this summer.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere Fiorentino (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, coach Carolina Morace’s side are ready to compete in the Italian topflight next season after a successful promotion fight this campaign.

President Claudio Lotito is keen to strengthen the squad in order to ensure their stability in Serie A, and the Biancocelesti are now keen on the 35-year-old Sabatino.

The Italian forward, who has scored 16 goals in 21 games this campaign for la Viola, will be released on a free transfer this summer and would be willing to sign for the Roman club.

Sabatino guarantees a consistent threat in front of goal and also will bring a lot of experience and advice for a youthful squad.
