Unwanted Arsenal Defender Kolasinac Linked With Lazio & Schalke

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is set to leave North London this summer with Lazio and Schalke interested.

As reported by British media outlet Football.london earlier today, the 27-year-old Bosnian defender is no longer wanted by the Gunners and will not be re-integrated into the squad after the conclusion of his loan deal with Schalke.

Kolasinac joined the Bundesliga outfit in the January transfer window with the aim of helping them avoid relegation, an ultimately unsuccessful effort. His contract expires with Arsenal at the end of next season and so the Premier League side are looking to sell him now to generate some funds.

Lazio and Schalke are both keen on the 27-year-old Bosnian, with the Biancocelesti looking to strengthen their defense this summer, with options like Mateo Musacchio and Wesley Hoedt disappointing this season.

Kolasinac has made 17 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke this season, for a total of 1425 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal, provided one assist and helped the team keep four clean sheets.
