After months of negotiations, it seems as though Lazio might be ready to move on from manager Simone Inzaghi as the club appears to show interest in possible replacements like Napoli’s Gennaro Gattuso

However, the Biancocelesti are not putting all their eggs in the Gattuso basket as they seem to be meeting with other potential candidates. One of these individuals that Lazio will be meeting with this week is FC Porto’s Sergio Conceição.

La Lazio Siamo Noi relays the news from Portugal that Claudio Lotito will be meeting with the Portuguese tactician this Wednesday.

Conceição will depart Porto with his contract expiring next month. During his time with Porto, the 46-year-old has won four trophies, winning the league twice, the Portuguese Cup, and the Portuguese Super Cup during his five years with the Dragões

Since becoming the Porto manager in 2017, Conceição has managed 217 matches in all competitions with a record of 155 wins, 30 draws, and 32 losses while accumulating 495 points.

This past UEFA Champions League season, Conceição led Porto to an upset victory in the Round of 16 against Italian giants Juventus FC.

  1. I hope Lazio do sign hin. And ADL can sign Inzhagi for Napoli. I hate to think that Napoli end up with Spalletti. He should not be allowed to coach again in Italy after his treatment of Totti. And there is no way those two egos could exist for a whole season.
