Despite Lazio trying to resolve their issue with manager Simone Inzaghi and whether or not they’ll extend him, the football world continues to move. Next up on the calendar is the summer transfer window, and the Biancocelesti will look at players to upgrade their squad.
There’s no UEFA Champions League money coming in this summer. As a result, Lazio might go with affordable young players with high upside potential. According to Grand Hotel Calciomercato (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Rome-based club could be scouting in Poland as they eye two potential transfer targets.
The Italian media outlet reports that Lazio has an interest in 18-year-old Jan Bieganski and 22-year-old Karol Fila; both of which play for Lechia Gdańsk.

Despite Bieganski’s young age, the midfielder made his first-team debut this season, making 13 appearances and providing two assists. Furthermore, Lazio has a history of tracking the player, and so it seems they would like to land Bieganski this summer.
Meanwhile, Fila is the older player of the two targets. He has good physique, endurance, and technique, resulting in call-ups to represent the Poland under-21 national team. The right-back made 29 appearances this season for Lechia Gdańsk, where he scored two goals and two assists.
Nonetheless, they aren’t the only Italian club monitoring the player, as Spezia Calcio also shows interest.
