Lazio forward Ciro Immobile finished off the season with the Biancocelesti notching yet another 20-goal campaign in Serie A play. Immobile scored 20 goals in 35 league appearances this season.

As noted by Transfermarkt, Immobile finished with the most goals scored among all Italian players within Europe’s top five leagues this season. The Lazio star edged out the likes of Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne (19) and Torino striker Andrea Belotti (13) in this notable goals statistic.
Immobile was not able to replicate the success that he had over his impressive Golden Boot-winning campaign last season. Still, this was yet another prolific goal-scoring campaign by Lazio’s main superstar striker.
Immobile now heads into the Euro 2020 tournament in top form following this superb goal-scoring run in Serie A play. The Lazio talent will certainly be vying to become the Italian national team’s clear-cut starting center forward in this upcoming international tournament.
