With the season drawing to a close, it’s time now for veterans Senad Lulic and Marco Parolo to say goodbye to Lazio.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the pair’s adventure with the Biancocelesti has come to an end now, after the conclusion of the 2020/21 season.

Neither veteran was offered a new deal by the Roman club, a bitter ending especially for the Bosnian, who was hoping to stay in Rome for a little longer.

It was a bittersweet final season with Lazio for the duo; whilst they did get to experience Europe’s top competition with the Biancocelesti, domestic results have disappointed and, in the end, there was no farewell with the fans, especially painful for Lulic, who has been with the club since 2011.

Both players left an important legacy at Lazio and neither is likely to be forgotten by the fans for their faithful work.
