Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare Will Attend Tomorrow’s Meeting With His Future Also in Doubt

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare will attend tomorrow’s meeting between president Claudio Lotito and coach Simone Inzaghi, with his future now in doubt.

As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via TuttoMercatoWeb) earlier today, the Albanian sporting director’s position is at risk for the first time in 12 years with the Biancocelesti, with his recent transfer flops like Vedat Muriqi, Riza Durmisi and Jony all fresh in the mind of the Lazio president.

Whilst it is unlikely that Lotito will dismiss Tare before his contract expires, which will continue for another two years at €2 million net per season, the Biancocelesti president wants to understand how much more Tare can give to the club.

All the signs seem to suggest that Inzaghi will not renew his contract with Lazio in tomorrow’s meeting, with Lotito already lining up a replacement in Gennaro Gattuso, who was let go by Napoli at the end of this season.
