Lazio Finish 2020/21 Serie A Season With Second Lowest Point Total Under Inzaghi

Lazio finished the 2020/21 Serie A season with 68 points, the second-lowest amount in the Simone Inzaghi era.

The Biancocelesti struggled to replicate their strong form from last season this campaign, and the busier schedule due to both the Covid-19 pandemic and the Champions League commitments saw the team start the first half of the season sluggishly domestically.

The lowest amount of points the Roman club have ever achieved under Inzaghi was in the 2018/19 season when Lazio finished eighth in the table. That season, however, the Biancocelesti won the Coppa Italia, beating Atalanta in the final.

The highest amount of points ever achieved under Inzaghi in a single campaign was 78 last season.
