Lazio striker Vedat Muriqi is keen to return to Fenerbahce and has spoken with interim coach Emre Belözoğlu on multiple occasions.
As reported by reliable Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu on Twitter earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward is at the top of Fenerbahce’s striker list for this summer’s transfer window, with the Turkish giants looking to be reunited with a player who provided so much in his solitary season with the club.

Interim coach Belözoğlu has spoken to Muriqi on the phone multiple times and the player is keen on a return to Istanbul, where he found significantly more success than he did this season in Rome.

After his transfer from Turkey to Italy, the 27-year-old Kosovan amicably parted ways with agent Haluk Canatar and so now is in talks with Fenerbahce directly.
Muriqi, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, scored one goal in 27 Serie A appearances this season, disappointing considering the almost €20 million investment made to bring him to Rome.
