Following Inter Milan’s decision to part ways with Antonio Conte, rumors have run rampant on who could be the club’s next manager. One such report noted that Inter has an aim at possibly signing Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi, who will be out of a contract next month.
Tullio Tinti, Simone Inzaghi’s agent, fueled the speculation when he was shown arriving at Inter Milan headquarters on Wednesday. However, Tinti downplayed the rumors when he noted that he was merely there to ramp up talks with Inter over a possible contract extension deal for his client and Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni.

Here for Simone Inzaghi? No, not at all. I came to discuss my players. For Bastoni, we’re working on his renewal.
Inzaghi met with Lazio president Claudio Lotito today to discuss the manager’s ongoing contract extension dilemma. The Italian manager is set to become a free agent next month, and it still remains to be seen whether he will go on to remain with the Biancocelesti.
For Inter, the side has been linked with multiple managers as possible Conte replacements, and it will be noteworthy to see on whom they will go all out to sign.
