Simone Inzaghi’s notable run with Lazio has now come to an end. Lazio’s official website announced that the Italian manager will no longer be with the club following a five-year run.
Inzaghi departs from Lazio having won 108 total matches in Serie A play. As noted by Opta Paolo, this number ranks only behind long-time Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri (142) among managers over the past 10 Serie A campaigns.

Inzaghi leaves Lazio with 134 total wins in all competitions. The Italian manager led Lazio to an impressive top-four finish last year in the final Serie A standings. More so, Lazio won a trio of trophies under the now-former Biancocelesti manager.
Inzaghi will now reportedly become Inter Milan’s new coach as he will replace Antonio Conte, who had agreed to a contract termination deal with the current Serie A champions.
Lazio’s pair of league fixtures against Inter Milan next season will be among the must-watch matches for the upcoming new Serie A season.
