Lazio are ready to offer Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe a contract extension lasting until 2026.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the confirmation of coach Simone Inzaghi means that it’s now time for the club to start securing their key players as well, with the core defenders being Stefan Radu, Francesco Acerbi and Luiz Felipe.

Lazio have prepared a five-year contract worth around €2 million net per season, tying the player to the club until 2026. Luiz Felipe could sign the deal as early as next week.

The Brazilian defender missed a large part of this season after undergoing ankle surgery in January but returned to the fold as soon as physically able.
