Bologna Coach Mihajlovic Considering Declining Lazio’s Offer to Replace Inzaghi

Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is considering declining Lazio’s offer to become their new head coach.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito is furious with the nature of Simone Inzaghi’s departure from the club, and is keen to find a new coach as soon as possible.

Lotito is unsure whether to sign a coach similar to Inzaghi in order to keep some consistency, or hire a coach with a different playstyle for a total tactical revolution.

Mihajlovic has been contacted and Igli Tare has given his approval for the Serbian, but now it’s seeming like the 52-year-old is set to decline the offer and stay at the Rossoblu.

The reason for a possible refusal is currently unknown for now, although updates are expected over the coming hours and days.

The Biancocelesti are also evaluating a variety of other options, from both Italy and abroad.
