Graffiti has appeared nearby Lazio’s training ground in Formello insulting Simone Inzaghi for his change of heart regarding a contract renewal.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the Biancocelesti faithful feel betrayed by the 45-year-old Italian coach as he had reached a verbal agreement regarding a renewal on Wednesday night, before changing his mind yesterday and deciding to leave the club, with a move to Inter now expected.

Fans are now divided between those who believe that the club are at fault for pushing Inzaghi to his limits, whilst others believe that the Italian coach betrayed the trust and love of those who have always supported him.

This sense of abandonment has now led some fans to write on the walls of Formello, near Lazio’s training centre, which said:

Inzaghi traitor, servant of modern football!

There was also some graffiti praising the work of Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace, who guided the Biancocelesti to a successful promotion to Serie A Women after topping Serie B this campaign.
