Gianluca Di Marzio Reveals the Contract Details the Former Lazio Manager Simone Inzaghi Will Sign With Inter Milan

The Simone Inzaghi era at Lazio has come to an end. The 45-year-old departs to the Rome-based club, where he won three trophies, including the Coppa Italia in 2018-19 and winning the Italian Super Cup twice in 2017-18 and 2019-20.

Inzaghi now takes the lessons learned at Lazio with him as he will become Inter Milan’s next manager once his contract expires next month.

According to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Inzaghi has signed his contract with Inter and will become their next boss as he takes over for Antonio Conte, who won Serie A this season.

Di Marzio reports that the former Lazio manager will sign a two-year contract to head a new project with Inter as Inzaghi looks to continue to build off of what Conte has created.

Nonetheless, Inzaghi will see a weaker side at Inter, considering they will sell off some players as they deal with financial issues. Regardless, the Italian tactician gets another crack at UEFA Champions League football with his new club; meanwhile, Lazio is beginning its search for their new manager.
