Turkish Journalist Reveals Liverpool’s Asking Price & Contract Demands Made by Lazio Transfer Target Xherdan Shaqiri

Lazio is without a manager, and although finding the replacement for ex-boss Simone Inzaghi is at the forefront, the Rome-based club needs to keep an eye on potential transfer targets as they look for ways to improve the squad for next season.

The 2020-21 Serie A campaign proved that Lazio relies too much on Ciro Immobile to carry the scoring load, and the transfer of Vedat Muriqi has blown up in their face. The 27-year-old made 34 appearances in all competitions and only scored two goals.

One of the main upgrades Lazio must do is reinforce their attack, and there’s one name that its leaders are eyeing to help solve these issues. According to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Lazio remains keen on Liverpool FC’s Xherdan Shaqiri, with who they’ve shown interest in the past

Furthermore, Konur reveals the details regarding Liverpool’s asking price for Shaqiri and what the 29-year-old wants in terms of a contract and annual wages.

The report states that The Reds would be willing to let Shaqiri go for €14-million. Meanwhile, the player wants a four-year contract with an annual salary of €3.5-million.

Along with Lazio, AS Roma and Sevilla FC remain interested in Shaqiri, so Lazio knows what it will possibly take to grab the forward. Shaqiri has made 63 appearances for Liverpool, where he’s scored eight goals and registered nine assists during his time with the English club.
