The 54-year-old is the architect of the Lille OSC squad that dethroned Paris Saint-Germain and claimed the Ligue 1 crown, and parted ways with the club after the season.

Reports suggested that Galtier was on his way to join OGC Nice. However, since he still has one more year left on his contract, if he is to join another Ligue 1 side, Lille would have to receive compensation.

As a result, the manager could look abroad, and Lazio is reportedly one of the clubs interested, but they aren’t alone. The Italian media outlet adds that La Liga giants Real Madrid, who must now replace Zinedine Zidane, and Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are two other clubs expressing interest in the French tactician.
