Lazio Reportedly Has Offers from Eintracht Frankfurt, Monchengladbach & Fenerbahçe for Vedat Muriqi

The first season for Vedat Muriqi with Lazio didn’t go as planned. After becoming the Rome-based club’s most expensive signing last summer, the 27-year-old scored two goals in 34 appearances.

Despite a tough first year with the Italian club, it doesn’t appear that Lazio wants to give Muriqi a second season to try and prove that he’s worth the money they paid for when acquiring him from Fenerbahçe.

According to Kosovar journalist Arlind Sadiku, Lazio has three offers for Muriqi, who’s under contract until 2025.

Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach are in on the player. Also, Fenerbahçe is insisting on a return for him. The German clubs are interested, hoping for a loan. However, Lazio wants a loan plus an option to buy.

During his time with the Turkish club, Muriqi made 36 appearances where he scored 17 goals and registered seven assists. These three clubs hope that the striker can recover his past form after a difficult season with Lazio.
