Among Lazio’s managerial targets is Italian and former Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri, whom club president Claudio Lotito is scheduled to meet within the coming days, as noted by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
Lazio is currently in the early stages of its talks with Sarri. Lazio sporting director Igli Tare reportedly met with Sarri to gauge the manager’s interest in possibly becoming the Biancocelesti’s newest manager.
La Lazio Siamo Noi also notes that the Biancocelesti is leaning towards offering a two-year, €3 million per season deal to Sarri. This deal would also include a bonus if Lazio is able to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Lazio is surely aiming to find its new manager ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
