Photo – Lazio Midfielder Luis Alberto Bids Farewell to Inzaghi: “I’m the Player I Am Today Thanks to You”

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto bid farewell to Simone Inzaghi ahead of the Italian coach’s move to Inter.

As seen on Luis Alberto’s Instagram page yesterday, the 28-year-old Spaniard expressed his gratitude to Inzaghi for their time together in the Italian capital, where Luis Alberto became one of the most exciting attacking talents in Serie A.

Luis Alberto has played under Inzaghi since his arrival in Rome in 2016 and the Spaniard has always been a favourite 45-year-old Italian coach, who may reportedly try to bring him to Milan.

The 28-year-old Luis Alberto posted a photo of himself and Inzaghi alongside the caption:

I cannot find enough words to thank you for these years together. It has been an honour for me to work with you, I am the player I am today largely thanks to your advice and your trust.

I wish you the best in your new adventure because you deserve it, coach, friend, father…
