Lazio forward Joaquin Correa put together a formidable season for the Biancocelesti over the 2020/2021 campaign.
The Argentine forward delivered for Lazio in key matches, such as against the likes of Club Brugge in UEFA Champions League group stage play.
For Lazio, the Rome-based side is aiming to garner up funds over the upcoming summer transfer window and would consider offloading Correa, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet Corriere dello Sport (via Cittaceleste).
From Correa’s standpoint, he much prefers to remain with Lazio and keep his place as a regular starter with the team, the report added. The Argentine forward currently has three more years remaining on his active contract with the club.
Correa is now focusing on representing the Argentine national team in the upcoming Copa America tournament, which will kick off later this month.
The Lazio forward has totaled for two goals scored in five career appearances with Argentina.
