As noted by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio president Claudio Lotito will meet with Sarri on Thursday to further gauge the manager’s interest in becoming the club’s newest coach.
More so, the Biancocelesti now views Sarri as the top choice to fill its managerial vacancy.
From Lazio’s perspective, club officials are waiting on Sarri’s final answer as the side would like to sign him to a multi-year deal ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Lazio would much prefer to receive an immediate approval from Sarri to take on its managerial vacancy as it aims to quickly outline its plans for the transfer period.
The report does add that the likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto are two players that Sarri would like to build around should he become the club’s new manager.
Lazio’s search for a new manager remains one of the biggest storylines in Serie A today.
