Lazio’s Vedat Muriqi Scores Four Goals During Kosovo’s Friendly Fixture Against San Marino

Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi recently finished off the 2020/2021 season with one of the more underachieving campaigns by a first-year Biancocelesti player.

Muriqi struggled to secure a place in Lazio’s regular starting lineups and totaled for a mere one goal scored over 27 Serie A appearances. However, Muriqi got back on track with a four-goal showing during Kosovo’s international friendly fixture against San Marino.

Muriqi clinched the hat-trick over the early stages of the second half. The Lazio forward then secured the first four-goal showing of his international career with Kosovo later on in the second half.

Kosovo will have one more fixture coming up over the ongoing international window, which will come in a home matchup against Malta on June 4.

For Muriqi, it will be noteworthy to see whether he will go on to remain with Lazio past the upcoming summer transfer window. The Lazio forward currently has four more years remaining on his active contract with the side.
