Stefan Radu is set to be among multiple Lazio players that will be out of a contract next month, which will grant them the opportunity to leave the club as a free agent. However, Radu does not prefer to end his run with Lazio just yet.
The Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi notes that Radu is aiming to receive a two-year contract extension offer from Lazio club officials.

Lazio recently put forth a mere one-year extension offer on the table to Radu. But now, the Biancocelesti defender has countered the club’s offer by making his requests known that he would prefer to stay on with the team for two more seasons.
This may indicate that Radu wants to finish off the final years of his professional career with the Biancocelesti.
Radu joined Lazio over the 2008 winter transfer window and has since gone on to become the club’s all-time leader in appearances with 412. The Romanian defender recently capped off the 2020/2021 season with 33 appearances in all competitions.
