Inter Considering Lazio’s Marusic as Possible Replacement for PSG Linked Hakimi

With Achraf Hakimi likely to move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, Inter are considering signing Lazio’s Adam Marusic as a replacement.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Nerazzurri need to make a large profile sale this summer in order to alleviate the club’s financial burdens and it seems that Hakimi is the player who will be departing in the coming months.

PSG have offered €60 million to Inter for the 22-year-old Moroccan wing-back, but the Milanese club want €70 million; A deal is likely to be closed somewhere in the middle.

New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi appreciates his wing-backs and so the Nerazzurri need to find an important replacement for Hakimi, with the 28-year-old Montenegrin being one option. The alternatives to Marusic are Barcelona’s Emerson Royal and Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi.

Marusic’s current deal with Lazio expires next summer and so far, a renewal has not been finalised.
