Expiring Napoli defenders Elseid Hysaj and Nikola Maksimovic are at the top of Lazio’s transfer target list.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are interested in the two expiring Partenopei defenders, who will be free agents at the end of this month.

The 27-year-old Hysaj is a favourite of possible new coach Maurizio Sarri, and so securing the Albanian would definitely please the 62-year-old Italian coach, who is still in talks with the Roman club regarding the vacant head coach position.

Fiorentina have also made an offer to Hysaj and other clubs are keen on him too, providing some competition to Lazio.

The Roman club are also looking to sign 29-year-old Serbian centre-back Maksimovic, who shares the same agent with Sarri, Fali Ramadani.

AC Milan are also interested in him, however, and so the Biancocelesti will have to send a convincing offer.
