Lazio president Claudio Lotito and possible new coach Maurizio Sarri are both keen to continue talks after last night’s initial meeting.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà earlier today, yesterday’s talks went well, with the pair discussing tactical ideas and what adjustments the squad would need.
Both parties left the meeting feeling positive and ready to continue further exploring the idea of Sarri filling the role previously held by Simone Inzaghi.
Whilst a total agreement may not be reached until next week, the situation will undoubtedly become clearer over the next 48 hours. The Biancocelesti are only dreaming of securing Sarri now and he is their top priority.
Today there is likely to be a meeting with Sarri’s agent Fali Ramadani and the Biancocelesti are feeling confident.
Lazio’s management understand that switching from the former Napoli and Juventus coach to someone else would be an incredible disappointment for the fans, who have fervently expressed their desire to see Sarri be appointed.
