Lazio Expects Managerial Decision From Maurizio Sarri Over the Next Two Days

Contract talks between Lazio and Maurizio Sarri remain ongoing, and an agreement between both parties is very close. However, only two details are left until the former Juventus FC boss takes over the Rome-based club’s managerial position.

According to Corriere dello Sport, although there are two details, a signature and announcement, the potential deal is far from crossing the finish line. Nonetheless, talks have reached a culminating point where Lazio can officially communicate a possible agreement between today and tomorrow.

This past Friday was a crucial day to exchange documents between Sarri’s attorney, Fali Ramadani, and Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito. The report states that there’s a presented offer on the table for the Italian tactician, who has already returned to his home in Castelfranco di Sopra after discussions with Lazio over the past few days.

Lazio supporters will monitor social media with news of either a new manager or a deal falling through. Regardless these next few days are crucial. Lotito wants to announce a possible deal over these next two days, so the final yes and signature are expected between today and tomorrow from Sarri.

The former Chelsea manager has a €3 million contract plus bonuses linked to the Europa League, Champions League, and Scudetto. The contract length is reportedly two years, with an option until 2024. Lotito has made a considerable economic effort because he believes that Sarri is the right choice for his Lazio.
