São Paulo FC Wants to Secure Transfer for Lazio Target Rafael Santos Borré

River Plate striker Rafael Santos Borré will see his contract with the Argentine striker expire later this month.

The 25-year-old would like another shot at playing in Europe, which is why the Colombia international hopes that Lazio’s interest is more than rumours.

Nonetheless, if the Rome-based club wants to secure the transfer for Santos Borré, they’ll need to start discussing financial terms, considering one of the biggest clubs in Brazil wants to land the striker.

According to TNT Sports, São Paulo FC is the latest club expressing serious interest, as manager Hernan Crespo wants to grab him since he’s familiar with the player as a result of his time while managing in Argentina.

Lazio needs another striker to take the scoring duties off on Ciro Immobile, considering that their move for Vedat Muriqi didn’t work out as planned. When the 31-year-old striker goes cold, Lazio’s offense struggles to score goals.

Santos Borré has made 149 appearances and scored 56 goals with River Plate.
