Lazio is closing the Simone Inzaghi era, and it will also look to turn the page on certain players and begin a new cycle. The Rome-based club could be listening on offers for specific players, and one of them is Joaquin Correa.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Lazio News 24), the 26-year-old has suitors from England. The Italian media outlet states that West Ham United FC and Everton FC are ready to offer around €30 million.
The Rome-based club currently finds itself searching for a manager, with former Juventus FC boss Maurizio Sarri being the leading candidate. Once Lazio hires a new gaffer, they will likely look at the squad and decide who they want to keep.
Nonetheless, €30 million is a significant fee. With other needs on the squad, it will be interesting whether Lazio decides to accept or decline the offer for Correa, who’s under contract until 2024.
Correa joined Lazio in 2018 and has made 117 appearances for the Italian club, where he’s scored 30 goals and registered 18 assists.
