Raul Moro currently stands as Lazio’s most coveted prospect within its youth system.
Moro has so far scored 17 goals in all competitions with Lazio Primavera this season, which includes six scores in the team’s Coppa Italia Primavera final run.
Moro did go on to make one appearance with Lazio’s first team, although it was a mere 10-minute cameo against Sassuolo in the team’s Serie A season finale. However, Moro may now be a contender to feature more with Lazio’s first team next season.
According to a report from the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, expected new Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is slated to evaluate Moro as a possible option for the first team next season.
Moro is on par to begin next season with Lazio Primavera once again. However, Sarri will put into consideration whether Moro should receive more appearances with the first team in the upcoming new campaign.
The 18-year-old prospect will head into next season playing in the final year of his current contract with Lazio. If he goes on to earn more playing time minutes with the first team, it could possibly persuade him to extend his stay with the club for several more seasons.
