Maurizio Sarri Will Send His Signed Contract to Lazio Tonight

Maurizio Sarri will email his signed contract to Lazio this evening and will become the Biancocelesti’s new coach.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero earlier today, the 62-year-old Italian has carefully checked over the two-year deal – with an option for a third – and will earn a little over €3 million net per season plus add-ons linked to the Europa League, Champions League and the Scudetto.

His staff have all checked over their contracts too, with their own respective lawyers, and have agreed to the deals.

Should Sarri guide the team to Champions League qualification or a trophy then he could easily earn over €4 million, or even €5 million if he achieves both at the same time.

Sarri believes in the Biancocelesti and thinks that the squad has enough quality to achieve his goals, although a few reinforcements are expected, especially considering the formation switch from a 3-5-2 to a 4-3-3.
