Lazio is showing an early interest in Napoli winger Matteo Politano for a possible permanent transfer move this summer, according to a report from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Once Sarri officially comes to terms on a multi-year contract agreement with Lazio club officials, the Italian manager will immediately work to formulate plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Sarri is aiming to revamp Lazio’s attack and is interested in bringing in Politano as his first forward signing this summer.
Napoli is not closing the door to a potential Politano departure in the coming months. Di Marzio further adds that Napoli is already scouring the transfer market for an immediate replacement for Politano should he leave for Lazio or another club.
Politano is coming off of a potent goal-scoring campaign with Napoli, which included nine goals in Serie A play. The former Inter Milan talent scored key goals against the likes of Lazio and AS Roma over the course of the season.
Politano does have three more seasons remaining on his current contract with Napoli, which may provide the side with an edge in transfer negotiations.
