Lazio will finally announce the appointment of new head coach Maurizio Sarri today.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the Biancocelesti have reached a total agreement with the 62-year-old Italian coach, with him agreeing to a two-year contract with an option for a third, worth a little over €3 million net per season with add-ons linked to the Scudetto, Champions League and Europa League.

Whilst his signature was expected yesterday, today it will almost certainly arrive and then Lazio will announce his arrival, in what will surely be an incredibly relieving post for the Biancocelesti faithful.

The only reason for the delays, the report continues, is due to Sarri’s close family circle and is not related to any contractual, economic or tactical issues.
Sarri is an exciting replacement for former coach Simone Inzaghi, who left the Italian capital after five years in order to join Inter.
