New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi wants to bring Lazio forward Felipe Caicedo to Milan as a backup for Romelu Lukaku.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the future of the Nerazzurri’s strikers is currently undetermined, with only the Belgian star certain to stay for next season, leaving Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez and Andrea Pinamonti all surrounded by uncertainty.

Inzaghi is keen to make Lukaku the focal point of his time but is concerned about playing him too much, and so wants to sign a player with a similar profile as a backup.

The 32-year-old Caicedo fits that bill; The Ecuadorian forward is big, strong, can hold up play well and has a decisive shot inside the penalty box.
Caicedo is one of Inzaghi’s most loyal players and only has one year left on his contract with Lazio, so the Biancocelesti may be willing to sell him for a small capital gain this summer.
