The Italian national team is set to kick off its Euro 2020 run in a few days with a group stage fixture against Turkey. Fortunately for Italy, the team avoided a major injury scare during a recent training session.
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile took part in a rondo session with his Italian national side teammates. During the drill, Immobile was hit in the head by the ball and subsequently fell to the ground in apparent pain.
The good news is that there are no reports of Immobile having suffered any notable injury from this incident.
The Lazio forward is expected to be a key starter for Italy in the upcoming Euros.
