Lazio have officially announced that Maurizio Sarri will be the club’s new head coach.
As seen in a post on their Twitter page earlier today, the Biancocelesti posted a cigarette emoji as their sign that the 62-year-old Italian coach will be the replacement for Simone Inzaghi.

Sarri has been in talks with Lazio regarding the role for several days now, wanting to meticulously break down his contract as well as wanting confirmation for his staff.
The former Napoli and Juventus coach has signed a two-year deal with Lazio, with an option for a third, worth around €3 million net per season, with add-ons linked to the Champions League, Europa League and the Scudetto.
