Expiring Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj is expected to be Lazio’s second signing of this summer’s transfer window.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Tempo (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti have reached an agreement with the 27-year-old Albanian left-back, who will sign a five-year contract worth around €1.7 million net per season, rising per year and with possible add-ons linked to various objectives.

The appointment of former Napoli and Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri has been decisive, with Hysaj having previously worked with the Italian coach at both the Partenopei and Empoli.
The 27-year-old Hysaj is an important reinforcement for Sarri and the Albanian is able to play as both a left and right back in the coach’s system.
This season, the player made 29 appearances across all competitions for Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli, for a total of 2141 minutes. In that time, he provided three assists and was a consistent passing threat.
