Possible Return to Lazio for West Ham Forward Felipe Anderson This Summer

A possible return to Lazio may be on the cards for West Ham winger Felipe Anderson this summer.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, reinforcements are needed this summer to give new coach Maurizio Sarri the right players for his tactical system, with the club needing to sign wide forwards for his set-up.

The 28-year-old Brazilian forward has remained a favourite of the Biancocelesti faithful after his departure to the Hammers in the summer of 2018 and with his contract expiring at the end of next season, he could be picked up for a lower fee this summer.

Felipe Anderson spent this season on loan with Liga NOS side Porto but failed to make an impact during his time in Portugal and will almost certainly not be included in David Moyes’ plans for the East London club, so a move away from the English capital is likely over the next few months.

The Brazilian has expressed through his entourage his desire to return to Rome, although the Biancocelesti are still keeping tabs on multiple other wingers in Italy and abroad, so a return is not guaranteed.
