Lazio Have Concerns About the Physical Condition of Free Agent Stevan Jovetic

Lazio are interested in signing free agent Stevan Jovetic but have doubts about his physical condition.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 31-year-old Montenegrin forward has been proposed to the Biancocelesti by his agent Fali Ramadani, the same man who also represents coach Maurizio Sarri.

After a strong spell with Fiorentina, Jovetic was unable to repeat his successes with either Manchester City or Inter but did have a small comeback in France with Monaco.

Lazio are looking to sign attacking midfielders or flexible forwards and Jovetic represents a good opportunity, especially considering he’s a free agent, but the Roman club have concerns regarding his condition.

Jovetic ruptured his cruciate ligament in 2019 and only started six Ligue 1 games this campaign, ending the season suffering from a calf injury.

The Biancocelesti are still considering the idea and are taking their time before deciding whether to either pull the trigger or back off.
