La Liga side Real Betis has now joined Lazio in the early interest of Nigerian and Crotone striker Simy, as noted by the Italian-based outlet TuttoMercatoWeb (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
Betis is presumed to have taken an early lead in the pursuit of Simy for a possible permanent transfer deal.
The Seville-based side has already established firm contacts with Simy’s representatives to discusses a potential summer move, the report added.
For Lazio, club officials have only touched base with Simy for preliminary contacts.

Simy is coming off of one standout campaign in Serie A play. The Nigerian international scored 20 goals for Crotone, which tied the talent with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile for the fifth-most goals in Italy’s top-flight this past season.
With Crotone set to feature in Serie B next year following its 19th place finish in the final league standings this past season, Simy may be intrigued with a move to either Lazio or Betis in order to continue playing top-flight football.
More so, the Crotone star will become a free agent next year when his current contract expires.
