Lazio is scouring the transfer market for wingers, and Maurizio Sarri reportedly has a few names that he would like club officials to consider signing.

One of these individuals is Italian and SC Freiburg player Vincenzo Grifo, who has been recently linked with a possible move to the Biancocelesti.

It is not known whether Lazio is currently entertaining the idea of signing Grifo, who has spent his entire professional career in Germany.

Amid the links to Lazio, Grifo is not completely closing the door to a possible first-ever move to Italy’s top-flight.

In speaking to the Italian-based outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Grifo further touched on whether he could very well feature in Serie A as soon as next season.

As I’ve often said, in football, never say never. I’ve been following Serie A since I was a kid. In the last ten years, I haven’t missed a game and in life who knows. Maybe one day.

Lazio club officials are well looking to sign a winger or two over the upcoming summer transfer window.

Grifo is sure to be among a multitude of attackers that Lazio will consider whether to go out and sign for a permanent transfer deal.
