Cagliari have lined up River Plate forward and Lazio linked Santos Borré as a possible replacement for either Giovanni Simeone or Alberto Cerri.
As reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio earlier today, the Rossoblu first have to confirm the futures of both the 25-year-old Simeone and the 25-year-old Cerri, as the club are open to selling either this summer.

French side Olympique de Marseille have already submitted an offer for Simeone and other clubs are following the player as well, suggesting that he is likely to depart this summer.
Cagliari have therefore identified the 25-year-old Borré as their top target to strengthen their attack. The Colombian forward is also being followed by many other clubs in Serie A including Lazio, although the Biancocelesti’s interest has cooled a little in recent weeks.
Borré has made 13 appearances this season for River Plate, for a total of 908 minutes. In that time, he has scored eight goals and provided one assist.
