Lazio club officials and new manager Maurizio Sarri continue to formulate plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Now, Lazio has signaled out one veteran Bundesliga talent as a possible winger option for the transfer period.

As noted by CalcioNews24, Lazio is now showing an early interest in signing current Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic to a permanent transfer deal.

The Rome-based side will not be alone in its expected pursuit of the Serbian playmaker, as the report also adds that Inter Milan has been keeping tabs on the talent.

Lazio aims to open up talks with Frankfurt for Kostic as soon as this weekend.

For the moment, Lazio remains focused on offloading striker Joaquin Correa. The Argentine talent has been in the rumor mill regarding a possible move to Tottenham, as new Spurs sporting director Fabio Paratici is much a fan of his goal-scoring prowess.

The report hints that once Biancocelesti officials are able to sell Correa, the club plans to use such funds to facilitate a deal to bring in Kostic.

The Serbian playmaker has been accustomed to playing under a 3-5-2 setup at Frankfurt. Still, his versatility and on-ball prowess would make him an ideal transfer target for Lazio.

The Biancocelesti will continue to be linked with a multitude of goal-scorers and playmakers as it seeks to sign wingers for Sarri’s projected 4-3-3 setup next season.
