Lazio are one of the many teams closely following AZ Alkmaar attacking midfielder Dani de Wit.
As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare is carefully evaluating the 23-year-old Dutch trequartista, who has impressed this season in the Eredivisie.
Many teams are interested in the Dutch attacking midfielder, with clubs in Germany, France and Italy all keen, including Lazio.
The 23-year-old de Wit made 20 Eredivisie appearances this season for AZ Alkmaar, for a total of 1209 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided three assists, being noted for his strong pressing and passing.
The AZ Alkmaar trequartista is the captain on the Netherlands Under-21 squad as well, having scored 11 goals in 12 competitive appearances for the Oranje.
Sporting director Igli Tare is looking for the right players for new coach Maurizio Sarri this summer, with the squad needing a few reinforcements, including in the midfield.
