Lazio Sets a New Asking Price for Inter Milan-Linked Forward Felipe Caicedo

Felipe Caicedo’s future with Lazio remains unclear at the moment.

Caicedo was a candidate to leave Lazio over the recent winter transfer window but wound up staying at the club amid interest from the likes of Fiorentina.

Now, the Ecuadorian striker has been garnering interest from former manager Simone Inzaghi, who wants to reunite with him at Inter Milan.

However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito plans to be stubborn in any transfer talks with Inter for the forward.

According to a report from the Italian-based outlet Il Messaggero, Lazio is open to offloading Caicedo over the upcoming summer transfer window for a mere €4-5 million.

On the other hand, Lotito plans to ask double from Inter for Caicedo if the reigning Serie A champions elect to open up transfer talks for the forward.

Lotito still remains unsatisfied over how Inzaghi departed from Lazio and prefers not to see Caicedo join forces with the former Biancocelesti manager at Inter.

Nonetheless, Lazio is now well open to selling Caicedo.
