Lazio Squad Will Depart for Their Pre-Season Training Camp on 10th July

Lazio will depart for their pre-season training camp with new coach Maurizio Sarri in Auronzo di Cadore on 10th July.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the plan for this summer’s retreat was drawn up by Sarri during his meeting with sporting director Igli Tare on Monday.

The Biancocelesti will meet on the 8th or 9th July in Rome to carry out medical tests before departing for Auronzo di Cadore on the 10th. The squad will remain in Veneto until 28th July, when they will take a few days to rest before carrying out the second part of the pre-season preparations elsewhere in Italy.

In the meantime, two of Sarri’s assistants have travelled to Auronzo today to inspect the facilities, the pitches and the hotel.

Four friendly matches will be played during the retreat, although the opponents have not yet been decided.

Last year, the local administration and Media Sport Event Group opened the retreat to the Lazio fans, allowing them to follow the squad, which will hopefully be repeated this summer as well.
