Manuel Locatelli is having one of the best performances of his career in the Italian national team’s Euro 2020 group stage fixture against Switzerland.
After a half in which he scored a goal and controlled play in Italy’s midfield setup, Locatell managed to outdo himself in the second half with one astounding score.
The Sassuolo midfielder latched off an outside-the-box attempt that Switzerland’s backline did not see coming. It is now two goals off two shot attempts for the rising Serie A star so far in this match.
Italy is well on pace to collect all three points from this fixture.
